TEST SHOOT: AMERICAN GIRL

Perhaps one of the biggest perks of living in Texas, is the abundance of small country towns with their quaint mid-west charm and plethora of abandoned car shops, wooden houses and everything else that is too hick to be appealing in any sort of way. Luckily I live in an already quaint college town not too far from a bunch of other places that exhibit this Texas charm that are somewhat worthy of being photographed. Mitchell Flores in his location scouting glory was fortunate enough to come upon a very cool abandoned tire shop and and even cooler hamburger joint down the road. The perfect juxtaposition to a modern take on the 'American dream girl', Liv Dexter of the Dragonfly Agency simply nailed it and I can't help but fall in love with all the shots we managed to capture. A big thank you to Walter Fuentes for saving the day with his straightener (YOU ROCK) and for the lovely dewy look on Liv and perfect textured hair. For daily updates on his work, check out his Instagram and I promise you won't be disappointed.

XOXXO, Laurel
