TEST SHOOT: THE UNDERGOUND

I've always had this vision of a super cool, street-syle influenced shoot somewhere down in a subway, preferably in New York, but you work with what you got when the closest city near with mass transit is Dallas, Texas. Mitchell Flores and I decided to try our luck and we ventured down into Uptown Station with the sweetest Annabel McGill of the Campbell Agency and a good friend of Mitchell's, Marcel White, who shot some behind the scenes and location shots. I wanted this look to be simple and clean, so I stuck with a vintage camel coat, flowy black pants and platform slip-ons. For makeup, I kept the look dewy and fresh using minimal foundation, Benefit's high beam highlighter, and a mauve lip stain by Makeup Forever. We managed to capture a few stunning shots before being ushered out by security since apparently the subway is not a public space. Overall, I'm in love with many of the shots we managed to capture in dim lighting of the station. After making our way back above ground, the Dallas sunset was too good to not capture a few more shots of this look.
